My first charcoal attempt

Here's my first charcoal attempt. Just bought a new set of charcoal pens and, didn't realise what a difference it would be when drawing with them in comparison to the normal B pens.

The tips are very soft and thick and I found it really easy to create the light/shade effect. Really loved it. The only downfall for me, was the fact that tips were breaking really easily and were somehow scratching the paper, but this might be due to their quality as well. Need to do some research and find out which ones are best.
